Concept and design
BetsupLive was early stage when they contacted us to hear about the opportunities for development. We were very excited about the idea that the data was user-driven and that you were playing against “the bookies”. We went into a brainstorming phase around the concept and concretized it to bring out the main purpose of the service, and how this could lead to earnings for the customer. This was also complemented by colour schemes which we believe represented the solution well. We chose to use a dark background to contrast with the primary colors orange and green. The color scheme was based on the fact that the colors represent hope, movement and balance.
Development and technology
The application is developed in Flutter, which makes it available for both iOS and Android. We've used Firebase for both server and database functionality. The administration portal is created in Vue.js. The website is set up in Webflow. The system connects to an external API for retrieving LIVE sports data.
App
The application was developed with the aim of being able to display the data of various matches in different sports in a clear way. It was also a high priority to filter and sort who one would follow by users and which matches were of interest. Color contrasts and symbols were adopted to more clearly distinguish the various components from each other. The application is even in a closed beta test phase, but the expected release is by 2023.
Website
At the request of the customer, a landing page was needed, as well as a video production of the application. The website should be as clear as possible, so we designed it with a full video on the home page, an information page about the application and a contact page. The colors were representative of the customer's concept and trademark.
Admin Portal
An associated administration portal was developed that only the customer should have access to. This is to manage matches, keep track of the number of users with options to eliminate inappropriate content, send notifications and offer Premium content.
