App for Lykkepromille

www.lykkepromille.no

Project Lykkepromille aims to reduce the negative consequences alcohol can have for individual students and the student environment in Bergen. The project is funded by the Norwegian Directorate of Health and is based on a professional collaboration with the Norwegian Centre for Drug Abuse Bergen and the Centre for Competence for Intoxication in Central Norway. Student associations working on the Lykkepromilleprojekt are Studentskipningen på Vestlandet, Sit, SiO, SiA, SSN, and SinN.

It's been great working with Link. Right from the start there has been an open and orderly dialogue, where Link has been very good at keeping us updated on the status of work with the app. We were contacted by part after the first article in Shifter, and now I am very happy that we landed on partnering with Link Development. I look forward to working with them further.

The Lykkepromille app has been on the market for several years before we took over development. Instead of continuing the existing techstack, we chose to adopt a new technology, but at the same time take care of the graphical profile and animations that were already in the service. The application makes it easy for the user to log the number and type of device, thus obtaining a pointer at the promill-level based on weight and height. The percentage does not exceed 1 in the app as the happiness percentage is between 0.5 and 1.

The app is for those who want to drink alcohol but control their intoxication and keep a low promil level. The higher the promil, the greater the risk of injuries and adverse events. If the user wants to follow the promillenivel level above 1, this is the wrong app (lykkepromille.no).

We hope that young people and older alike benefit from the app and get an overview of their own alcohol intake. The app can be downloaded on both Android and iOS.

Technology:

Flutter for app development. The technology does not have a backend as the data is stored locally on the user's phone.
