Over the past few years, the spotlight on having good diversity in companies has been more and more central. Good diversity helps to increase the profit rate of companies, improve the working environment and open opportunities for many. Diversity is a collective term used to describe both large and small human differences. The differences are more than just gender and ethnicity, which are the ones most often noticed when talking about diversity. Diversity is everything from age, nationalities, sexual orientation, life experience, values, personality, education and functional differences. If you want to go deeper into the definition of diversity, you can put more emphasis on the invisible factors within diversity. Here, upbringing, socioeconomic status, life experience, values and family relationships will be in focus.

Within the tech industry, it will open up that people who previously did not think they had the opportunity to enter the tech community will now have the opportunity to try their hand. In Link Development, we have entered into a partnership with Nav where we will give different people the chance to enter the world of work. The project is called JobLoop, and is a project that aims to prevent outsourcing, qualify more people for jobs and create good networks and partnerships. At Link Development, we have received several young and exciting people who, for various reasons, have ended up outside the working world. They are now in full swing with us and are doing a brilliant job with good follow-up from our staff. With good communication, they will get a lot of useful learning and a good reference for later in their working life, at the same time that we in Link Development get help in our everyday life with various tasks. Such a win-win situation is both good and essential for our society to take a bigger step in the right direction.

Within the IT industry, the focus on increasing diversity in digital industries has grown a lot in recent years. Diversity, as mentioned, is crucial for success, and this means, among other things, an increase in the proportion of women among managers and employees. There are few female entrepreneurs, a low proportion of women among employees and even fewer women in senior positions. Research shows that gender balance in companies is good for business. This is something that we at Link Development get a lot of motivation from, as we are two female leaders with great faith in each other and our company. Within our industry, we strongly believe that by hiring people with different backgrounds, educations and values, it will create a balance that will contribute positively to the company's bottom line.
