Introduction

We have had the pleasure of developing the app Miljøjakten for the climate festival Varmere Våtere Villere. The technology is based on our map solution.
The climate festival Varmere Våtere Villere is an informal, social arena where academia, civil society, business, cultural life and the general public meet to share knowledge, opinions and ideas. A place to discuss everything from the global questions to the smaller everyday actions. The programme includes talks, conversations, debates, film screenings, live shows, workshops, author conversations, art exhibitions and concerts across four days.
Miljøjakten is an interactive, free app that invites children, young people and families to explore climate and nature topics through an engaging trail in central Bergen. The app combines questions, tasks and activities to engage participants in concrete action and greater knowledge about climate, nature and sustainability.
The trail consists of several stations where participants use familiar technology to solve age-appropriate, educational tasks. The main trail is available all year, while extra stations and activities are added during Klimafestivalen Junior in March 2025.
Collaboration with knowledge institutions and companies ensures fact-based and inspiring content. The goal is to engage and mobilise concrete action for climate and nature, while creating a fun and educational experience for the whole family.
Miljøjakten is a white-label version of our map technology Kulturjakten, which is launching in several cities across Norway, meaning the technology is well tested and scalable.
