Blue Cross got in touch with us on a recommendation from another client, looking for help with an integration between two of the systems they use: Varbi and Simployer.

The solution

The brief

The brief was to build an integration between Varbi and Simployer, where a person marked as an employee in Varbi is automatically added to the right department in Simployer.

The solution

Our solution

We built a Node.js backend that connects to Varbi using webhooks. When a person is marked as an employee in Varbi, Varbi sends a webhook to our backend, and we connect to Simployer to register the new employee there. The backend also keeps the company structure in Simployer synchronised with Varbi, so that vacancies can be published with the correct affiliation regardless of department.
