Feedo is a service built for pet owners. It lets you calculate how much food the animal has eaten and whether that amount is toxic for it, based on its weight. The project is developed by veterinarians and launches in 2024.
We developed the app and the website, as well as the design and graphic profile.
What a fantastic team. Organised, professional, skilled and very easy to communicate with. We have received a lot of help and guidance on developing the website and the app, and also on founder questions. We have felt safe and well looked after the whole time, and are very grateful for everything they have done for us.
The solution
Application
The application is meant to be an easily available service where users can register their animals and check whether they have eaten something they should not have. If the app is used by someone without a registered pet, you can search under the Dog or Cat category.
The app has a calculator that works out the amount of product eaten in relation to information about the animal and concludes whether it is dangerous or not. You can look up more than 100 different food types, drinks, plants and other items.
The solution offers subscriptions and in-app purchases. Buying a subscription gives the user access to more food products.

Website
The website was developed to show the concept to interested parties and to serve as a point of contact. The idea behind it was an airy, clean landing page that let visitors find contact details and information about the project easily. We also implemented a module showing several screens of the application, and the menu navigates down the page.
Design and experience
Design
The solution is designed to be easily available with the most important information first: the food products and the consumption calculation. We chose to include paw prints on both the website and the app to bring out playfulness and keep animals in focus. Both the site and the app are marked by minimalism so that users can easily find the information they are looking for. The design is therefore intuitive and easy to navigate.

The application is built with Flutter and Firebase. The website was designed in Figma and implemented in Webflow.
