Introduction
BetSupLive AS, represented by Edwin Kjeldner, got in touch with us to explore the possibilities for developing a concept. We contributed with business development and conceptualisation, shaped the design and website, and built the app and its admin portal for him.
BetSupLive offers information from live matches based purely on the actual state of the match. This gives users a more realistic view than the odds do. Unlike ordinary betting companies, BetSupLive does not base its information on computer-generated content or experts. BetSupLive bets on people who actually know what they are doing, and that is you.

After countless conversations with various app developers in Norway and abroad, we finally landed on Link Utvikling as our app developer, and it turned out well. We have been in regular contact with Link Utvikling since before Bet Sup Live AS was founded, and the follow-up has been outstanding. We experience Link Utvikling as incredibly organised and efficient, with knowledge that reaches far beyond app development itself. They have helped with everything from app development to legal assistance and marketing advice, and the product itself now looks better than we had dared to imagine. As people the team is also extremely dedicated and professional, and we feel incredibly lucky and safe with them as our app developers. If you want a simple, well-organised app with a beautiful design and good functionality, we at Bet Sup Live AS recommend Link Utvikling.
The concept
Concept and design
BetSupLive was at an early stage when they contacted us to hear about the possibilities for development. We were immediately drawn to the idea that the data was user-driven and that you played against the bookies. We entered an ideation phase around the concept and made it concrete, bringing out the main purpose of the service and how it could generate revenue for the client. This was supported by a colour palette we felt represented the solution well. We chose a dark background to contrast with the primary colours orange and green. The colours were chosen because they represent hope, movement and balance.
Technology
Development and technology
The application is built in Flutter, which makes it available for both iOS and Android. We used Firebase for both server and database functionality. The admin portal is built in Vue.js. The website is set up in Webflow. The system connects to an external API to fetch live sports data.

The solution
App
The application was developed to present data about matches across different sports in a clear way. It was also a high priority that users could filter and sort which people they wanted to follow and which matches were of interest. Colour contrasts and symbols were used to separate the different components more clearly. The application was developed and tested through a closed beta phase before launch.
The solution
Website
At the request of the client there was a need for a landing page and a video production of the application. The site had to be as clear as possible, so we shaped it with a full-bleed video on the home page, an information page about the application and a contact page. The colours were representative of the concept and brand of the client.
The solution
Admin portal
An accompanying admin portal was developed, accessible only to the client. It is used to administer matches, keep track of the number of users with the option to remove inappropriate content, send notifications and offer premium content.
